100-Word Fringe: “Hot Tub With Kurt And Kristen” at Assembly George Square

Kristen Schall you may know – her off-beat squeaky tones and quirky looks have graced Flight Of The Conchords, The Daily Show and the South Park writer’s room. Kurt Braunohler you may not. But both are very, very funny – and while guests come and go (including, on my night, the fantastic Pajama Men and a not-so-strong New York comedian whose name escapes me) the awkward, endearing humour of Schall and Braunohler carries the day. Keep a special eye out for Braunohler’s new “talents” of sound effects and ventriloquism. “Help me, I’m a real girl” indeed, Kristen. Quality variety showcase.

Hot Tub With Kurt And Kristen is playing at Assembly George Square until August 27th.

Tickets: £16 (£15)
