100-Word Premiere: “Ringer”

Well that was crazy. It’s absolutely delightful to see Sarah-Michelle Gellar back on television but… well that was strange. Playing identical twins Bridget and Siobhan (hilariously mispronounced) is a tough task, but she manages to imbue both girls with the batshit insanity required of the script. You see, Bridget’s an addict and crime witness, and Siobhan’s rich and powerful and… dead. But she’s not. And I think she wants Bridget dead. So now Bridget is posing as Siobhan and– look, it was all a bit of fun. I’m sure it’ll drive itself into the ground, but in the meantime… WHEEEEE.
