100-Word Premiere: “Community”

Oh how I missed thee. This was the Summer of Community for me, so after cycling through a million episodes in a few weeks I’ve been gagging for more. And while the season opener was solid, it wasn’t quite what I was hoping for. Bar a crazed singalong opening, it was fairly reserved – not that I mind that, but it didn’t exactly hit the emotional beats I would have liked either. Geoff’s exclusion from the group was destined to be short-lived, while Chang remains a difficult character to keep in the loop. Loving the introduction of John Goodman though.

Wow, I’ve never even heard of these. I’m going to have to find them.

Community is absolutely amazing – don’t know if my review got that across as the opening of this season wasn’t amazing. Definitely one worth getting into, absolutely devoured it over the Summer (come back to me when you’ve watched the infamous paintball episode).
