100-Word Review: “100 Interviews Live” at People’s Improv Theatre

What unexpected delights you serve, NYC. Myself and a few friends stumbled into the 100 Interviews Live panel hoping to see RL Stine, but got much more. A framing device for a project that saw writer Gaby Dunn set herself the task of interviewing 100 specific subjects (whether they liked it or not), the interview panel covered her experience while also pulling in Stine, pastry chef Anne Christensen, blogger Julia Segal and YouTube sensation Mark Malkoff. All were fair game for a loose interview style, leading to fun, quirky answers helmed by Dunn and comedy writer JD Durkin. Lovely stuff.
